Detroit River Walleye Fishing Charters

Mid-March through June provides great opportunity to catch big walleyes, with April and May being peak months.

During this trip we will be "jigging" which consists of bouncing a lead head jig on the river bottom triggering a

walleye to bite. A lot of bonus fish such as musky, pike, steelhead, and the rare lake sturgeon can also be caught

on this trip.  Fish cleaning is provided on all walleye trips at no additional cost.

Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Charters

There are many islands, reefs, and shoals found throughout the western basin of Lake Erie that provide excellent walleye habitat and fishing.  The primary method for fishing in the lake is trolling, but we will often stop and jig or cast on structure once a nice school of fish is located. This trip is available mid-May through August when the weather and fishing in the lake is at its best.

Lake Erie Steelhead & Walleye

Starting in mid to late July, big schools of steelhead (rainbow trout) migrate to the edge of the western basin to feed before making their fall run into local streams and creeks to winter. These fish are a lot of fun to catch and are pretty good on the grill. Limits of walleye and the occasional salmon can also be caught while trolling for steelhead.  This trip is offered starting in late July through the month of August.

* Price varies depending on fuel and location of fish *
